• Direct Digital Synthesis (DDS) - a DSP-driven phase lock engine and internal clock source that produces imperceptibly low jitter characteristics (below the noise floor), even when the Audio Express is resolved to an external clock source via SMPTE time code.
• Sample-accurate MIDI - connect a MIDI controller and/or sound module with no separate interface needed. MIDI I/O is sample-accurate with supporting software.
• Foot switch input - connect a standard foot pedal switch for hands-free punch-in and punch-out while recording. Or map the pedal to any keystroke function in your host software.
• DC-coupled TRS outputs - can be used with VoltaÖ (sold separately) to manipulate and sequence voltage-controlled modular synthesizers from a host DAW.

Das neue MOTU Audio Express Hybrid ist ein fortschrittliches Audio Interface von MOTU. Wieder einmal wurde der Standard mit innovativen Funktionen und verbesserten Standardfunktionen nach oben geschraubt. Das MOTU Audio Express Hybrid verbinden Sie entweder via FireWire oder via USB mit Ihrem Windows-Computer oder Ihrem Macintosh System.
MOTU nennt das Audio Express auch 'The personal Studio I/O'. Es ist ein einfach zu nutzendes Audio-Interface für Musiker. Schließen Sie Mikrofon, Gitarre, Keyboard oder auch aktive Monitore an das MOTU Audio Express und schon haben Sie alles, um zu musizieren. Für Aufnahmen einfach noch den Rechner via Firewire oder USB 2.0 anschließen und loslegen. Sie müssen kein Kabel mehr umstecken. Das MOTU Audio Express ist eben nicht nur ein Audio Interface, sondern kann auch als Mixer verwendet werden. Sie haben alles unter Kontrolle, da alle Ein- und Ausgänge mit Drehknöpfen zu bedienen sind. Natürlich kann man auch die mitgelieferte CueMix DSP Software für schnelles Routing oder zum Mischen verwenden.
